Important Notices Regarding Student Regular Health Check-ups
- If you have not undergone the regular student health check-up, a health certificate cannot be issued. All students must undergo the check-up during the implementation period.
- You can visit us at any time during reception hours during the implementation period.
- On the day of the examination, please prepare clothes that are easy to remove. Please wear a T-shirt, tank top, and thin underwear (without metal parts).
- If you wear glasses or contact lenses, please bring them with you for your eyesight test.
- There are target grades for the hearing test (target grades: 3rd and 4th year university students, 2nd year Osaka Sangyo University Graduate School students) and color vision test (target grades only: 3rd and 4th year Osaka Sangyo University Graduate School students, 2nd year graduate students). The color vision test is optional only for target grades (any findings will be noted on the health certificate).
- The re-examination items will be a urine test and a chest X-ray, and will be conducted on campus at a later date. Only students who are eligible will be notified by mail of the re-examination. Please check your mail and make sure to take the re-examination.
- Health certificates will be issued by the automatic certificate issuing machines around mid-May (the issuing date will be announced later).
- If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Health Service Center (1st floor, Building 16).
Notice Regarding the Issuance of Health Certificates, etc. (Published May 18, 2026)
For students who did not undergo the regular student health checkup conducted in April 2026, and who underwent the additional regular student health checkup conducted on May 14th and 15th, 2026, we will issue a "Health Certificate, etc." as described below. Please make use of it.
Please note that for those who underwent examinations in April 2026, "health examination certificates, etc." have already been issued.

(1) "Health Checkup Results Notification" (Free of charge / Only one copy issued per year)
We can issue the results of student health checkups.
Please review your medical examination results and use them to manage your health.
*The "Health Examination Result Notification" cannot be used as an official certificate (health examination certificate).
(2) Health certificate (200 yen per copy)
We will issue an official certificate based on the contents of your health checkup results notification.
- Publication start date: Wednesday, May 27, 2020
- Issuance method: Please bring your student ID and issue the certificate at the automatic certificate issuing machine [PapyrusMate].
- Notes on "Health Examination Certificates"
(1) This certificate cannot be issued to those who have not undergone the regular student health checkup for the 2026 academic year.
(2) If there is an abnormality in the test results, it will be indicated as "Abnormal."

Notice Regarding the Issuance of Health Checkup Result Notifications and Health Checkup Certificates (Published April 30, 2026)
We would like to inform you that, starting May 7th, 2026 (Thursday), health checkup result notices and health checkup certificates will be issued via the automated certificate issuing machine [Papyrus Mate] for students who underwent the regular health checkup conducted in April 2026, as detailed below.
- Health check result notification (issued free of charge once a year / student ID required)
This notice is intended to allow you to check in advance whether there are any questions regarding the results of your current health check before your health certificate is issued, so please be sure to check it before your health certificate is issued.
Please note that this notification cannot be used as an official certificate (health certificate). - Health certificate (issuance fee: 200 yen per certificate / student ID required)
An official certificate will be issued based on the contents of the health examination results notification.
Notes
- Those who did not undergo the health checkup in April of the 2026 academic year cannot receive a health checkup certificate. As already announced on the university website and portal system, additional student health checkups will be conducted on Thursday, May 14th and Friday, May 15th. Please take the checkup if necessary.
- If you had any findings in your health checkup in April 2026, we have mailed you a notice regarding a follow-up examination. Please check the contents of the notice. Certificates cannot be issued by the automated issuing machine until the follow-up examination is completed (late May). We will inform you of the start date for issuance at a later date.

[For those who have not yet received a checkup] Additional student regular health checkups for the 2026 academic year (Published April 15, 2026)
In order to promote health maintenance and improvement based on the School Health and Safety Act, we will conduct additional health examinations for those who did not receive the "Regular Student Health Checkup" for the 2026 academic year, as follows.
Therefore, we encourage you to take proactive steps to manage your own health, prevent illness, and ensure early detection. In particular, health certificates may be required for job hunting, obtaining qualifications and licenses (including teaching practice) for graduating students, so please undergo a health checkup during this extended period.

Precautions to take when visiting the clinic
- Please be sure to bring your student ID and writing implements.
- Please keep your valuables with you at all times.
- Please allow yourself plenty of time when visiting the clinic.
- On the day of the health check, you will be examined and undergo a chest X-ray, so please remove any accessories such as necklaces and prepare clothes that are easy to remove.
Also, please wear a T-shirt, tank top, and thin underwear (without metal parts). - If you wear glasses or contact lenses, please bring them with you for your eyesight test.
- Please avoid overeating or consuming excessive sugar (juice, etc.) before your health check.
Infection control and prevention measures
- Wearing a mask is recommended.
- Alcohol disinfectant will be installed at several entrances and exits to the venue, so please disinfect your hands frequently.
- To prevent overcrowding, we will limit the number of people and organize queues, so please follow the instructions of staff.
- While you are receiving treatment or waiting to be seen, please refrain from private conversations, remain quiet, and follow the instructions of staff.
- You will be required to fill out a "health checkup individual card" at the examination venue. Please be sure to bring your own writing utensils to take measures to prevent infection.
Please refrain from lending or borrowing writing utensils. - If you have a fever (higher than normal body temperature), loss of taste or smell, or any other concerns about your health, please contact Health Service Center in advance.

Student Regular Health Checkups (posted March 3, 2026)
In accordance with the School Health and Safety Act, our university conducts regular health checkups for current students on the central campus in early April. In order to understand your health condition and detect and prevent illness early, we encourage you to take an annual health checkup during your time at university, from enrollment until graduation, to ensure your own health is well-maintained.
The results of the regular student health checkup will be issued by the end of May through the automatic certificate issuing machine. A health checkup result notice (one free per year) and a health certificate (200 yen each) will be issued. You may be required to submit these documents when participating in various events and procedures on and off campus, or when job hunting, so please remember to take the regular student health checkup as one of the events at the start of the academic year.
