About the placement test (class placement test)

At our university, we conduct placement tests (class placement tests) for new students in order to divide some of the subjects taken in the first year into classes based on proficiency level.

The purpose of this test is to check students' understanding of English and science subjects, and to organize them into appropriate classes so that they can take classes more effectively after enrolling.

Exam subjects

The subjects to be examined vary depending on the faculty.

  • Faculty of International Studies
    Japanese students speak English
    Japanese and English for international students (English is only available to those who wish to take the course)
  • Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences
    Language (English for Japanese students, Japanese for international students)
  • Faculty of Business Management, Faculty of Economics
    Japanese students taking English language classes will be taught in English, while international students will be taught in Japanese.
    *Language courses must be chosen from English, Chinese, German, French, or Korean.
  • Faculty of Information Design, Faculty of Architecture and Environmental Design, Faculty Faculty of Systems Engineering
    Language (English for Japanese students, Japanese for international students) and science subjects

Examination Information

Detailed information regarding the exam will be provided to those who are eligible to take the exam around Tuesday, March 24th.

To all parents

The entrance ceremony can be viewed from the parent seats in the gymnasium or in the monitoring room (Rooms 5101 and 5107, Building 5).
Please note that there is a limited number of seats available for parents in the gymnasium.

After the entrance ceremony, an educational meeting for parents of new students will be held.
This will be an information session that will provide an overview of each department, life at the university, and current employment situations.

About health checkups

About health checkups

In accordance with the School Health and Safety Act, our university conducts regular health checkups for current students at the central campus every year in early April. In order to understand your health condition and detect and prevent illness early, we encourage you to take an annual health checkup during your time at university, from enrollment until graduation, to ensure your own health is well-maintained.
The results of the student regular health checkup will be available to be issued from the automatic certificate issuing machine around mid-May, with a health checkup result notice (one free per year) and a health certificate (200 yen per certificate).

At our university, students who pass the entrance exams held during the year, such as AO, recommendation, and designated schools,
We provide pre-enrollment education free of charge to those who have completed the enrollment procedures.
The pre-enrollment education consists of two parts: pre-enrollment educational materials that review five subjects and a short essay assignment.
We will be sending out educational materials and information to eligible individuals from late December to late January.
Please plan your studies accordingly until the entrance ceremony.
